Character Spotlight 8/2/25

This character spotlight is about Qyilara: The Insect Queen.

Queen Qyilara is the leader of the Nyzilik. They are a colony of Insecta are the result of a unique evolutionary shift where the merging of specific insects took place resulting in the creation of a highly intelligent and deadly and completely new and unique species.

Being the Queen, Qyilara is the most powerful and most aggressive of the entire colony but her high intelligence, which is on par with some genius level humans, allows her to control her aggressiveness. While it may seem like she doesn’t have any body armor due to the scanty clad clothes she likes to wear but her skin is harder than any of the armor of the other members of her colony. She is faster, stronger and more resilient than any of her colony as well. While she doesn’t carry weapons, she has claws that can inject poison with her poison being the strongest and most deadly almost always resulting in a fatal ending. She can also fire stingers like projectiles from her hands and while they can still inject her deadly poison it is not fatal. Her iridescent wigs allow her to fly at high speeds and turn at sharp angles without slowing. She can communicate with anyone in her colony up to 5 miles away.
